The ARC Way

Excellence First

We never considered that there was an alternative to excellence. We maintain excellence throughout our process so you don’t have to wonder what’s next.

Initial Meeting

Every project starts with what we call a “feasibility study”. This is an in-person, detailed discussion about your project’s needs, timeline, budget, and more. We walk you through how similar projects usually go, point out anything that you might not have thought of, and help you get an idea of a rough big-picture budget. Any financial figures presented at this phase are intended to help you make a decision to move forward or not, they do not represent what the project will actually cost.

Planning & Design

Projects almost always require drawn plans or design work, so if you’re on board with the process we presented at our initial meeting we follow up by presenting a design contract to you so we can get started. We lay rock solid groundwork for our projects knowing there will be a lot of moving parts. We work alongside homeowners as well as hand-in-hand with architects and engineers to ensure we get to a set of finished plans as quickly and accurately as possible. Patience is required in this phase because coordinating with various offices and entities takes time! Timing is everything with construction and we minimize delays and the unforeseen by planning and adjusting quickly when needed. Once the design and planning is all done, we will create a bid for your project and present to you a detailed scope of work pending your approval.

Construction

Now that the groundwork has been laid and a building contract has be signed, the fun part can begin: construction! Although there is typically some discomfort inherent to the construction process, we work hard to contain dust as much as possible and minimize the impact on the rest of your home and daily life. Depending on the project’s scope, we’ll line up subcontractors to reduce bottlenecks and friction so work can happen on time and in the correct order which always produces our excellent results.

Quality Assurance

During every project, we make sure our boots are on the ground; even for the phases we’re not working on ourselves. In addition to city and county inspections, we always perform our own review of each phase, to make sure the work is done correctly and up to code while minimizing delays and streamlining the big picture processes. At the end of any project we perform a final review and if anything doesn’t meet our standard, we remedy it quickly. We always offer clients peace of mind with a one-year warranty on all of our work.
